ImCut Holding AG stands for the precise finishing and making-up of technical fabrics — with a clear focus on quality, reliability and continuous development.
Our core business is the phenolic resin coating of glass mesh fabrics and their making-up as reinforcements for cut-off, roughing and grinding wheels. We supply these products to customers throughout Europe and beyond.
As an owner-managed company, we combine Swiss quality standards with an international orientation — at two production sites:
- Main plant in Switzerland — Oberkulm AG, home of our production for more than 20 years
- Tissa Bosnia d.o.o. — our production site in Bosnia-Herzegovina, a strong second foundation of the group since 2015

Cotton Weaving Mill in Oberkulm
Our history begins long before the founding of TISSA ImCut AG. As early as 1872, a cotton weaving mill was established in Oberkulm — driven by the power of the water that had previously powered grain mills. From this grew what TISSA is today: a company with deep roots and its gaze firmly fixed forward.
Founding of TISSA
Since 1963, we have been producing sophisticated technical fabrics in Oberkulm. From its founding, the company was owned by the Schneeberger family — a foundation of trust, continuity and entrepreneurial vision.
Split into Two Sister Companies
In 2003, TISSA was split into two independent sister companies: TISSA ImCut AG — finishing and making-up of technical fabrics, in particular phenolic resin coating of glass mesh fabrics as reinforcements for cut-off, roughing and grinding wheels. TISSA Glasweberei AG — development and manufacture of customer-specific special fabrics.
Founding of Tissa Bosnia d.o.o.
With the founding of Tissa Bosnia d.o.o. in Bosnia-Herzegovina, we deliberately expanded our production capacity and strengthened our international competitiveness. What began as a strategic response to changing market conditions has developed into a reliable, load-bearing second pillar of the group.
Founding of ImCut Holding AG
In 2024, ImCut Holding AG was founded to unite both production sites under one common roof.
Management Buy-Out (MBO)
In May 2025, the company's future was secured with the successful completion of a management buy-out (MBO): the existing management took over the group and is leading it into the next chapter of its history — with the same values that have always distinguished TISSA ImCut: quality, reliability and the will to keep developing what has proven itself.
